State Dept: Better To Get Thrown Accolades Than Shoes

A spokesman for the State Department had this take on President Obama's Nobel Peace Prize, reports CNN:

Certainly from our standpoint, this gives us a sense of momentum -- when the United States has accolades tossed its way, rather than shoes.

Is this a tremendous slap in the face of Chimpy McFlightsuit and his neanderthal form of diplomacy or what?
